Now that we know the core differences between mineral water and purified water, we can compare apples with apples. The main difference is the water source, and secondly – treatment method. If your water source is proved to be clean and free of any harmful bacteria etc., mineral water may be harvested from there.
This allows you to consume “organic” water (if there is even such a thing – I made that up on the spot), free of any chemical additves or purifiers. However, it limits the amount of water you can “produce” and sell. If the spring is low, or if any contaminant has entered your water supply, your options may become fewer or your water source may be completely unusable for weeks at a time.
